TERMS OF SERVICE & LOCAL PROCESSING AGREEMENT

By checking the agreement box and clicking 'Enter Workspace', you ('The User') explicitly enter a legally binding contract with the independent developer of Sumzy ('The Operator') under the following strict terms:
1. COMPUTE ARCHITECTURE & DATA BOUNDARIES: Sumzy operates strictly as a browser-native frontend utility frame layer. The User acknowledges that all document parsing, text extraction, string tokenization, and AI summary inference loops execute entirely within the User's personal device hardware memory (RAM) and local browser tab environment. The Operator maintains no central servers, logs no user history, retains no data text streams, and possesses zero visibility into the context, nature, or details of the files processed within the workspace.
2. ZERO DATA LIABILITY & SECURITY BREACH IMMUNITY: Because no User documents, Personal Identifiable Information (PII), or corporate texts ever leave the client machine to interact with an external server network, The User agrees that The Operator carries absolute, unconditional immunity under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000.
3. TOTAL LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & AI ACCURACY WAIVER: This software is provided strictly on an 'AS-IS' and 'AS-AVAILABLE' basis without warranties of any kind. The User explicitly acknowledges that artificial intelligence and machine learning models are transactional utility text predictors that are capable of 'hallucinating' or generating inaccurate output parameters. The User assumes 100% of the risk regarding the accuracy, completeness, and utility of any summaries generated. Under no circumstances shall The Operator be liable for any academic penalties, professional termination, corporate damages, legal disputes, or financial losses resulting from reliance on the application's local output text arrays.
4. USER HARDWARE INDEMNIFICATION: Local machine learning execution is resource-intensive. The User assumes full responsibility for ensuring their computational device and browser tab environment possess adequate hardware performance capabilities. The Operator is entirely indemnified against browser crashes, system lockups, battery drain, or degradation of physical client components during large multi-format document data computations.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & FAIR USE COMPLIANCE: All AI weights and extraction frameworks utilized natively within this client shell (including pdf.js, mammoth.js, and quantized ONNX pipelines) are strictly deployed under verified, commercially cleared open-source licenses (Apache 2.0 / MIT / BSD). The User warrants that they own or hold the necessary explicit copyright clearances for any text strings or documents dragged into the dropzone.
6. SUBSCRIPTION REDIRECTION & ANTI-PIRACY GATEWAYS: Premium tier activations are managed exclusively via the external Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments. All payment flows, card handling, global sales tax remittance, and license seat validations are offloaded securely to Dodo Payments' cloud network. The User acknowledges that a license key is strictly limited to exactly one (1) concurrent device registration slot, and attempting to force parallel execution loops via browser developer console injections constitutes a breach of contract resulting in immediate termination of the local premium token session.
7. JURISDICTION & GOVERNING LAW: Any legal dispute, action, or claim arising out of or related to this software engine shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent High Courts located in India, evaluated under standard international intellectual property treaty frameworks.
